IS THE FBI BACK?

The recent FBI report on the January sixth demonstration at the Congressional Building stated it was not a pre-planned event and it was not organized or directed by Trump or anyone in his Administration. The FBI leadership showed political courage by issuing their investigative findings. I do not believe the Justice Department leadership and rank and file workers agree with this report.

While I hope the FBI is returning to its legendary past of being the best law enforcement organization in the World, the Justice Department is still filled with an anti-Trump conservative bias. Never-the-less it is good to see movement back to the FBI’s creed of following the evidence no matter where it leads. Now, let’s see some honest investigation of the alleged corruption surrounding the pay for play activities of Hunter Biden. Both the President and the public need these charges to be prosecuted or dropped.

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

Look anywhere in the short Biden Administration and you will find failure after failure. Promise after promise. Excuse followed by more excuses. The border crises, a Center For Disease Control that scares every sensible person, an election process no sane person trusts, China’s imperial push, a trade policy that will make America’s economy weak, military leadership that can’t seem to do anything right. Just look at the mess in Afghanistan. Our President is the Greatest Blame Shifter of all time.

The problems are complex, but the cause is simple. We have managed to let the most inept government of my lifetime to sit in the seats of power. Starting with the White House. How can anyone even think about impeaching the President when you see who is waiting to take over? Kamala, Nancy. That’s no solution. They are smarter, nearly everyone is, but both are very left wing and not known to be problem solvers.

Don’t look to the Republican Party to fix this mess. They are primarily responsible for it. In power or out they are equally ineffective. When they had the best President of my life, they knowingly failed to support him when he needed help. Even today all their concern about Trump seems to be more about using his support to get them elected. Money from the class of people that brought us the “rust belt” and are now, I believe, recreating it by supporting politicians from both parties.

Pay attention. Our votes and dollars are needed.

Rule of Law

All citizens are equal under the law does not mean all people are equal in ability, wealth, or intelligence. The Socialists would have us think that democracy cannot exist until we have equality of ability, wealth, and brain power. That is an insane goal that does not exist now and never will. And never should because it requires that the ‘rule of law’ be abolished before you can enforce a “wok” equality, real or pretended.

The politicalization of the Department of Justice, the FBI, the CIA, Homeland Security, and law enforcement that has occurred over the last few decades is now well established. It will not go away easily. A massive reconstruction of these organizations under a very strong group of elected leaders will be necessary. I do not see that happening soon for a simple weeding out of corrupt politicians will not re-establish the ‘rule of law.’

The DOJ, FBI, CIA, HMS, STATE DEPARTMENT and a few other government organizations need a drastic makeover. These critical organizations are not controlled by a few political leaders of the ruling party. They are controlled by an entrenched civil service cadre who have been in power for decades. They were appointed once and never left. They have spent years hiring and promoting like-minded workers until they now are more powerful than their leaders. These people decide who to investigate and punish.

President Trump’s big mistake was to trust the civil servants, especially those in DOJ and the Intelligence Community. It is a mistake to believe the security and well-being of America depend on an entrenched bureaucracy and their political leaders. The survival of Democracy depends upon constant renewal of the civil service with fresh appointees who leave when their party is defeated by a legal voting process.

Without a real ‘rule of law,’ there can be no freedom. The Constitution depends upon equality of law. The Bill of Rights does not exist without equality under the law.

Had enough?

I certainly have. It’s worse than I thought it would be, and is getting worse every day.

I hope some legislator gets a bipartisan bill passed that would authorize the building of a toy White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. It would have a teleprompter in every room and an extensive library containing the President’s personal collection of plagiarized articles. Razor wire would be needed to separate it from the real White House that would be re-staffed with people who knew what they were doing. No need for a fence to keep the public out. President Biden could get away from all the stress and move in immediately.

If it were only so.

Don’t be quiet

This is no time to be silent. Let the people and your party representatives know what you believe in and what you want them to do. Senators and Congressional Representatives have many masters, and you are not number one. The Representative from my district recently voted to impeach President Trump. He was certainly not representing the folks in my District. He is most likely voting the way the people that finance him made clear.

The Chamber of Commerce, big tech, large corporations, and the media can and do buy and influence many politicians with their lobbying and messaging. Just follow the money, and don’t be surprised where it leads you. Know any nationally known politicians that are poorer because of their time in office? Clinton, Obama, and Biden come to mind as politicians that came into office with very little wealth. Not so now.

There is some danger in speaking out. The far left (Socialists, Communists, and Progressives) cannot tolerate dissent or criticism. The best recent example is the open border policy of the current President. That policy does not benefit Americans by improving national security or the economic position of working America. Again, “follow the money.” Who does it benefit? The clear answer is big business, globalists and big money. Why? Because it pushes wages down when there are more people who want jobs than there are jobs available.

Capitalism without a strong dose of populism and nationalism is pretty ugly. I’m old enough to have seen the Globalists drive manufacturing offshore to create the rust belt, and, much later, to watch Donald Trump bring back manufacturing to America.
Speaking out against open borders and massive immigration will make you a racist and, of course, a white supremicist. Supporting the oil pipeline and workers against Presidential Executive Orders will label you insensitive to the climate change crisis that threatens the world. Big money and Big Tech do not want America to be a major fossil fuel exporter. The Globalists will be your enemy.

Speak out anyway. Someday your grandchildren will be proud of you.
