KING OF CHAOS

Were you listening when candidate and president-elect Barack Obama read from his teleprompter? He didn’t say he was going to lead America to new heights and work to fix the nation’s problems. No! He said he was going to transform America.

That was a new word for most of us. We are accustomed to the soaring rhetoric of politicians. They speak in sound bites and “transform America” did not sound ominous. But it was. We just weren’t listening.

obamafaceWe expected needed fixes to our health care, more spending, attention to welfare programs and a less aggressive foreign policy approach, but most of us did not expect the onslaught on America’s holy grail of individual freedoms, constitutional lines of the separation of powers, and our economic and military power. The usual Democratic Party’s fixation on the distribution of wealth by government degree rather than on the more for everyone by expanding our economy was also understood.

After nearly six years, even the most apology-prone elements of American politics recognize the Obama game plan is new and different. The dumbest members of our society seem to be located in Congress and refer to themselves as Republicans. They, as usual, are out of step with their constituents. The speaker, the only Republican who holds real power, doesn’t understand the rules of the game have changed. For some reason, he is afraid of using his real power, the constitutional power of the House to control the allocation of tax dollars to challenge the president’s expansion of executive power, the inordinate increase of the size and scoop of government, the political corruption of the civil service, the deliberate weakening of our armed forces, and the over regulation of our economy, especially the energy sector.

Instead, the House Republicans, under the Speaker’s leadership, are actively tilting at each issue Obama selects. They just don’t understand this president is not about working problems or fixing issues for the good of the nation.  President Obama doesn’t care a smidgeon about solving problems, domestic or foreign.

He is focused on transforming America.

All issues are used to destroy the opposition by making them appear to be on the wrong side of all issues. Obama is willing to change his position on any issue at any time, if the change will help him destroy the opposition and get on with the real stuff of destroying individual freedoms, institutions, constitutional limits, traditional foreign alliances, our capitalist economy, and military power. You see, to transform, you must first destroy. In President Obama’s playbook chaos is good. It makes change easier.

He doesn’t care if you sue him. The law is on his side. It is called Holder Law.

THE CONSTANT PRESIDENT

Once you break the code, President Obama is the most transparent president in my lifetime of presidents, starting with FDR. When analyzing what our president will do in any situation, I select the opposite of what I’m sure President Reagan would have done. President Reagan’s course of action was to deal with the problem so that America was protected and moving forward at all times. When there is a crisis, President Obama dithers and then does nothing to deal with the issue.

That doesn’t mean he does nothing. He uses every issue to push the ‘transformation’ agenda forward. Remember his ideological mentor, Saul Alinsky, the radical leftist revolutionary writer and community organization in Chicago before Obama wrote brilliantly that the issue is never the issue.  Any side of any issue is used to destroy the opposition and seize power by any means.

Most of our Republican leaders just can’t understand a president that doesn’t do his best to solve problems. Barack Obama is not just a ‘worse’ Jimmy Carter. His goals include diminishing America’s power  on the world scene. For example, I don’t believe President Obama is concerned about the rapid development of a Sunni Muslim empire including Syria, Iraq, and Lebanon. The power of America will not be used to stop the spread of ISIS. There is really nothing to stop their invasion from taking Baghdad. I’m not sure I would want American troops in combat again under our current commander-in-chief.

InsightsThink I’m being too hard on President Obama/ Once you understand his motivation, his tracks are easy to follow. He is a very different type of American politician. We have not seen anyone like President Obama in American political life. My new nonfiction book was written so every American could understand the progressive transformation and defeat it in the polling booth. There may not be many more chances to derail the rush toward a socialist nation. This book, INSIGHTS  The Transformation of America, is a code breaker for understanding your president and defeating progressives. I guarantee that after reading this book you will clearly see transformation for what it is. In the progressive world there is no room for conservatives, libertarians, moderate Democrats or independents. Look for these groups in the dustbin of history if the transformation process continues under Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.

OBAMA AND THE VETERANS

Here we go again. In this administration, the buck stops nowhere.  No one is ever accountable. No one gets ever gets fired. But there is a difference this time. The real democrats have added their considerable voice to the uproar while the socialists/progressives continue to protect and support their leader. General Shinsecki, regardless of his previous honorable record, has failed this time. He knew his mission five years ago and today the treatment of our veterans is worse than when he took office. A few more facts:

This is not a new problem and President Obama did not cause the problem. He has equally done nothing to fix it except make speeches about how as Commander-in-Chief he would make sure our vets were taken care of in the VA medical system. Instead after five years he is still studying the problem. The problem for the president and the progressives is that the VA is essentially a socialized medical system limited to veterans. The VA medical system is large but nowhere near the size of the Obamacare goal. The VA system, like all socialized medicine anywhere in the world, is run by the government. Government bureaucrats  have an unblemished history of failure in every socialize medicine scheme ever tried. The government does some things very well, running a socialized medical care system for veterans is not one of them. If the government cannot run the VA medical system effectively, how will they ever be able to run the much larger Obamacare?

The answer is they cannot, and this is the reason for all the delays and cover ups of the systemic failure of VA care for veterans in the last five years. The American people, while they can be fooled by nice-sounding words from a ‘cool’ president, they will finally recognize the lack of any attempt to solve the VA problem. The truth is that the progressives are not and never have been in the market to fix problems. Instead all their effort is dedicated to gaining power in order to transform America into a one-party totalitarian socialist nation.

What is most vexing is that there is a solution. Give veterans a voucher to go to any medical facility of their choice. It is time to scrap the VA medical care establishment and stop the substandard medical care of our veterans. Socialized medicine in any form cannot be fixed. It can only be replaced. We have had since the end of the Civil War to study the effectiveness of the VA. That should be long enough even for this progressive administration.

Insights

This Memorial Day, remember those who fought and died and continue to fight and die for the freedoms of this nation, and honor them. Our president doesn’t seem to be doing so.

NUMBERSnumbers

Numbers. A seven-letter word that is more of a concept than a word. I believe numbers have been one of the first parts of human cognitive development for thousands of years. Numbers may have been one of the earliest record-keeping concepts of human or pre-human thought. We tend to  count everything. An accurate count is the prerequisite to evaluation and analysis. Take the sports world: everything is counted and recorded accurately. We have come to accept that numbers are the first level of truth. Numbers have to be trusted. Without nearly total trust, numbers are useless.

Politicians, business executives, sports managers, scientists, educators, government officials, all cannot perform their functions without good numbers. Yet numbers have long been used by managers of all kinds to make their work appear more successful than it actually is. This works only in the short-term, as we humans from our up close and personal relationship with numbers, just  know when numbers don’t add up. We have had a president who has been manipulating, abusing, and plain lying about numbers to make himself and his progressive policies appear to be far better than reality for the last five years.

You would think that even the most devoted progressive Obama supporter would wonder about the gap between the numbers the administration feeds the people and their own observations of ground truth. A few instances. Does anyone really believe the ‘real’ unemployment rate is 6.1 or 6.2 percent? Only if you failed to count the people who have tried for months to find a job without success, or the people who want full-time employment but can only find part-time work. If we count all the unemployed the number is over 12%. The president has lied about nearly every number he uses for a victory dance. The latest is the 7.1 million people who signed up for Obamacare. He knows that is a lie but will use it to shift the political dialogue away from Obamacare to the jobs issue. Many of his 7.1 million haven’t yet paid the required premium. Millions of others were forced off their policies by Obamacare requirements and needed insurance. New Medicaid covered people are most likely also included in the magical 7.1 million.

No thinking person should accept any of Obama’s numbers without verification. He uses numbers like issues to bash the opposition and not for accurately reporting facts. He uses numbers to paint the world he wants rather than reporting verified facts of the real world. His intention in the health field is to create a  situation so bad and so chaotic that he can send the ‘single payer’ riding to the rescue on a white horse. Those numbers will also be lies. Do the math.

CHAOS IN THE LAND

I wonder how many people when they hear the word “change” think of a new and better approach to individual and national problems. When I hear that word, I think, “hope and a better life are gone.” It seems that hope and change requires chaos as a required element of the way progressives bring about change. Our president isn’t very good about working on our issues, individual or national. Is it possible that a man who has won two national elections seems to be a reckless, incompetent leader when it comes to management.

Take Obamacare. It would take a battalion of Philadelphia lawyers to mess up the implementation of the Affordable Care Act more than President Obama and his minions. He’s been educated at our best schools, taught Constitutional law at the university level, given countless speeches, and served in the Senate of his state and nation.

Maybe he believes radical transformation of a long-standing national system of government requires widespread chaos as a midwife. When people are in despair over health care, lack of employment, a capricious and/or corrupt civil service, lost lives, and treasure in wars the president never explains or even mentions, the erosion of savings, a poor education system with no other choice for their children, welfare of the nation’s warriors, a government that no one trusts anymore, a national government that has lost respect at home and abroad, and an administration that destroys both individual initiative and American industries, they are ripe for change of any kind. We elected this president twice. Why should he doubt he and the progressive party can offer change people in despair will accept?

You would think the debacle of Obamacare, the rapid growth of the rate of spending more then we take in, the plan to cut back the Army to pre-World War II levels, the push to destroy first coal and then the rest of the fossil fuel sources, the thousands of returning veterans without civilian jobs or the option to remain in the military, the corruption in the IRS, that never seems to be investigated by the Justice Department or the FBI, would be enough to ensure a change in the White House in 2016. Not so. The growth of people who are dependent on government welfare, if incentivized to vote, will be enough to swing the popular vote to the progressives.

Don’t believe President Obama is inept. He isn’t. By his standards and those of Saul Alinsky, the progressives guru, he is right on schedule. The issue is never the issue. Traditional Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and independents —  you don’t have many chances. The 2014 and 2016 elections must be won by the opponents of the progressive party and its foreign ideology.
